"I'm interested in dead people because when you try to help them they aren't stubborn and you don't have 'losing them' on your conscience." It was a simply stated answer for why Kaitlyn wants to pursue a career in forensic pathology, but I found it to be quite hilarious, as if being forced to work with those annoying souls with heartbeats would be too much to endure.
Kaitlyn Snyder's career aspiration remains to be puzzling. She was the quite the conversationalist. We talked about basketball, vintage shops -- she found the all-time best in Florence --, and even Alfred Hitchcock films. Our dialogue back and forth was enjoyable, it had depth, it came easy, and in a brief time she soon felt like a close family friend -- this also could be tied to her love for lakes and wake-boarding. I often wonder why this seemingly gregarious personality would want to spend her time among the deceased. She has a likability that would go unnoticed by the obsolete, and that would be the worst misfortune. She truly is a lot of fun to be around. On top of being a blast to chat up, Miss Snider was a small forward on her varsity basketball team -- she can dunk, check below --, a constant attraction for fashion forward thinking -- "I like to go for the 'I could never pull that off but she certainly can' look" --, and was senior class president for her graduating class. While her skin glowed in the Arizona sun, and I admired her Navajo inspired fashion choices, she continued to laugh at my failing jokes. If you're reading this Kaitlyn, the dead won't make you laugh! Ladies and gentleman, this is Kaitlyn Snyder, and she's been liberated.
