Mark & Allyson -The Wedding Collection-

I've been listening to Justin Bieber. Don't crucify me yet. Months ago, it was brought to my attention that a weirdly polarizing, and tormenting teen machine, miraculously, can be of some use to me, and possibly even healing. I was introduced to a track called "U Smile (Ambient)", a radio jam by the pop robber himself, that's been severely altered. The catch, it's slowed down 800%. Clocking in at over 35 minutes, this oddly gorgeous epic has me thinking of endless seashores, with the tide coming and going, in planets yet explored. I envision humans floating, clouds moving in downward directions, nearing us. I'm blanketed by the thought that anything can be salvaged. Hanson for the Twitter generation, has never sounded good. Until now.

Hit rewind please. These images have waited long enough, they certainly don't need Bieber fever sucking up their spotlight. These made-for-each-others were married this past spring, on a quiet, and blissful afternoon, in front of family & friends. They were never happier. I caught Mark staring at Allyson throughout the reception on more than a few occasions when a guest had momentarily stolen her attention. Joy was the evidence. And he was so freakin guilty. They never lost sight of one another all night. It was an endearing and glaring detail that didn't go unnoticed. So oblige me, and listen to Justin Bieber imitate Sigur Ros just once, as you glance at these images of a day that went so spotless, and I will be shellshocked if your skin doesn't go R.L. Kyle McGauley -The Senior Collection-

He's just an american boy. Pilot cravings at a young age, firefighter appetites demanding consideration, this kid has been stuffing his face with boyhood americana since those days you'd "pickle the beast". Okay, so he's indulged in a little american pie, but that's just what's on the surface. Having his older sister Katie as a best friend for quite some time, I've been able to enjoy special insights into his personality and observe his interactions with family, and friends. Kyle has a foundation built on faith. Guided by good family (the McGauley's are memorable people), Kyle often chooses unworldly routes to navigate through his life. He's unwavering in his choices to elevate his spirituality.

As I'm writing this he's in transit, he's hours away from starting a two week mission for his church, performing humanitarian duties (you know, the type of stuff that glossy celeb's use to twitter about to boost their likability) I don't even think Kyle knows what a twitter is. That's what's so enamoring about him, his aberrant choices. I'm still convinced that almost all of Kyle's wardrobe is entirely made up of Savers purchases. Which is hilarious. I wish I had shared a math class with him in high school so when he walked in with a hyper green "Nickelodeon Guts" shirt my morning started with machine gun laughter. When he isn't dressed in unexpectedness, he's wearing nothing. Well, almost. Try Speedos. Kyle is like a less stoned version of Michael Phelps. He's devastating in the pool. He's been competing for years, blasting through swim meet after swim meet. He's also got great pool etiquette. He waited to pee until he was outside of the pool, opting for a lake pleasant piss party (which I happily photographed, and not weird at all). Kyle makes you feel comfortable, like all likable people do. But he does it easier than anyone. I hope, I really hope I remain close to this kid For-ev-er. For-ev-er. For-ev-er. This is Kyle McGauley.
