She has earned herself a cool and twisted nickname. Call her 'The Contortionist' or 'Bend It Like Beckham', or even 'The Human Pretzel'. Kaitlin Silcox is able to bend, stretch, twist, and manipulate her body and limbs in maddening positions, all while gracefully hanging in the air. The average human couldn't attempt these forms even from the ground. Equipped with a Laffy Taffy like stretchability and hops that are more likely seen in a March Madness game, this girl possesses an extraordinary gift that is dazzling to watch.

Kaitlin smiles easy. She enjoys a good dose of sarcasm. She has this visible toughness, that I imagine she acquired from brothers, guy friends, or maybe from the intensity that stems from competitive dancing. She kind of reminds me of Christina Ricci's character Roberta Martin in the old chick flick "Now & Then" -- which was watched secondhand, while I played video games as a kid and my sister Kaylee watched repeatedly --, she's less tomboyish though. But she possesses that same brashness, and this really cool sense of loyalty. I feel as if anyone messed with Kaitlin's friends in high school, punishment was served quickly and coldly. I know nothing about dancing but I like to think that fierceness is present when she's throwing herself in the air, striking pose after pose, owning the stage. This is the effortlessly cool, one-of-a-kind dancer, Kaitlin Silcox, and she is now liberated.
